The small monastery in the Northern Woods was a peaceful retreat for retired knights of the Alabaster Order and the only home Tevin Godrickson had ever known. Father Godrick was the Abbot and Tevin's adopted father, but all the brothers were his family. Then one day everything Tevin knew was destroyed when the monastery was attacked.
Father Godrick inducted him into the Alabaster Order early before he died of his wounds. Now Tevin has taken it as his mission to identify those responsible for the attack and bring them to justice. To add to Tevin’s confusion, Father Godrick gave him a ring which had belonged to Tevin's birth father. What secrets does it hold?
Along the way, Tevin will adopt Blizzard, a stray dog to whom arrows have an aversion. He will also rescue Talia, a merchant with a secret. These are just the first two companions to join him on his quest, which will take him across the Kingdom of Balmarwick to discover a hidden plot, bring justice to those who killed his family, and discover the fate of his birth parents.
